Cell Biotech announced that its flagship probiotic brand, DUOLAC, participated in Vitafoods Asia 2025, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 17 to 19 (local time). At its independent booth, the company is introducing “221 Times Stronger DUOLAC” and seeking new business opportunities to expand exports across the Asian market.
Vitafoods Asia 2025, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), is Asia’s largest health and nutrition trade exhibition, bringing together global trends and cutting-edge innovations in functional foods. This year’s event features more than 650 international companies and is expected to attract over 13,000 visitors.
As Korea’s leading probiotics brand, DUOLAC has consistently participated in major international exhibitions — including Vitafoods Europe, China HNC, and SupplySide West (SSW) in the United States — strengthening the global reputation of K-Probiotics. This year, DUOLAC is drawing worldwide attention for its proprietary dual-coating technology, which delivers up to 221 times greater intestinal survival rate compared to uncoated probiotics. Through advanced R&D, the company has achieved a maximum survival rate of 91.6%, verified through clinical trials demonstrating significantly enhanced intestinal viability.
Cell Biotech’s booth has seen active engagement from buyers worldwide, with discussions centered on new export partnerships and market expansion into Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. In addition, two of DUOLAC’s new products are featured in the show’s New Product Zone, a special exhibition spotlighting innovative products. Among them, DUOLAC Brain Guard, clinically proven to improve mild cognitive impairment through CBT probiotics, garnered significant attention following its debut at Vitafoods Europe 2025. Another highlight, DUOLAC Woman Probiotics, has also attracted strong interest from Asian buyers for its targeted support of women’s health.

A Cell Biotech spokesperson stated,
“With our proprietary dual-coating technology, DUOLAC has proven 221 times stronger intestinal survivability and continues to lead the global market, exporting to 55 countries including Singapore and Indonesia. We have maintained the No. 1 position in global probiotic exports for 12 consecutive years. Through Vitafoods Asia 2025, we aim to further strengthen our presence in Asia and continue investing in R&D to enhance the competitiveness of K-Probiotics.”
Meanwhile, DUOLAC is running a new advertising campaign featuring actor Son Suk-ku, under the slogan “221 Times Stronger Probiotics, DUOLAC.” The campaign emphasizes the concept of “intestinal survival power” as the new benchmark for effective probiotics.
