Cell Biotech participates in ‘Vitafoods Europe 2025’

Cell biotech participated in ‘Vitafoods Europe 2025’ held in Barcelona, ​​Spain from May 20 to 22. In this exhibition, Cell Biotech participated with an independent booth to promote the excellence of K-Probiotics. It sought various business opportunities with the goal of expanding exports to the European market.

Duolac is a brand that has led the globalization of ‘K-Probiotics’ by recording the number one export in Korea for 11 consecutive years, and it was the first domestic company to participate in Vitafoods Europe with an independent booth, thereby raising the status of Korea. In particular, in 2002, it attracted worldwide attention by first introducing the ‘dual coating’ technology that increases the intestinal survival rate of K-Probiotics by up to 221 times at the exhibition. Based on this technological innovation, Cell Biotech’s K-Probiotics are exported to 55 countries around the world, including Denmark.

‘Vitafoods Europe’ is the world’s largest health functional food fair that started in 1997, and is an important event where you can see global trends and technological developments at a glance. This year, 1,400 companies from 162 countries participated in the fair, and more than 20,000 industry experts gathered to share the latest trends in the health functional food field.

According to Cell Biotech, this fair focused on ‘Lifelong Health’ as the main trend, and various functional raw materials for healthy aging were in the spotlight. Pet products also stood out, such as the newly established pet-only zone. In addition, ‘probiotics’ products that perform various roles under the conference theme of ‘Healthy Gut, Healthy Life’ attracted great attention. Probiotics products with various functions throughout life, such as not only immune management, but also mental health improvement, weight loss, muscle gain, metabolic disease improvement, and women’s health promotion, were introduced.

In line with this global trend, Cell Biotech introduced two new products, ‘DUOLAC Brain Guard’ and ‘DUOLAC Slim Pet’, in the ‘New Product Zone’ and ‘Pet Nutrition Zone’, which introduce the most innovative products. In particular, ‘DUOLAC Brain Guard’ is a product that has proven through clinical trials that the mild cognitive impairment improvement effect of CBT probiotics is effective, and it was first unveiled at this exhibition and received much attention.

In addition, Cell Biotech emphasized its global competitiveness by introducing the world’s best probiotic development technology and manufacturing know-how, such as the clinical launch of ‘PP-P8’, an innovative new drug for colon cancer using K-probiotics, the world’s most US FDA GRAS listings, and additional acquisition of ‘OK Kosher’ certification.
